Climate composer and jazz violinist Tim Kliphuis interviewed five top Dutch scientists for his new piece, Kosmos. Inspired by their stories about palms at the North Pole during the pre-sun era, plankton’s nocturnal wanderings, and how to get new perspectives on forests, Tim composed the music for Kosmos. On stage, seventeen Young Professionals, including percussionist Yifan Du, from the National Youth Orchestra, join him. Biologist and oceanographer Katja Peijnenburg shares her story during the performance.
